TELL ME ABOUT IT
The objective was to solve a problem through design. We were asked to develop a thesis statement, do research, and find a workable solution through the design process.
Hearabouts is an informational and product kit designed for use by members of the Deaf Community. The kit includes a standard signifier that I designed as accommodation for members of the community. It is meant to aid in identification which results in better communication. The signifier can be applied to wearable/attachable pins and stickers which can be displayed on personal items. The kit was meant to be available through a personal online ordering process which allows for design customization and personalization.
